? Channel Saws in Cotton Processing


Channel Saws are primarily used in the carding process of cotton processing equipment. They are usually made of metal, have a U-shaped cross-section, and both ends are securely attached to the frame of the carding machine.

Slitting saws play a key role in separating and straightening fiber bundles. As the equipment operates, the rip saws on the card rollers contact the fiber bundles and effectively separate them through the carding action, resulting in a smoother, more uniform distribution. In addition, rip saws help remove impurities and residues from the fiber bundles, thereby improving the overall quality and appearance of the cotton.
